Chris Long is not your ordinary rapper. Instead of gangster dreams, chasing easy money, 15 minutes in the spotlight and made-up stories - Chris Long represents what he feels is timeless. Respect, Honesty, Skill and true creation within the art of Hip Hop.

Influenced by many current people and things, as well as his old skool heroes of Hip Hop, Chris Long believes in emotion and passion. Things that can be given. Artistry to him is not about what he can get but what WE can get together. The creator and the beholder of the art is in an equal balance of importance.

Chris Long got an early introduction to Hip Hop at the age of 9. He started breakdancing with his friends in Stockholm at school dances and discos, winning many dance competitions. Often as the youngest competitor. As he grew he also grew an addiction to rhyming and lyricism. This led him to studio recording his first song in 1994. Without really knowing how to count bars and how to structure songs properly. The only way he knew if he did it right was by the feeling he got.

Moving to New York, studying international marketing, being in the army and a lot of other changes life brings caused time to pass all the way to 2005 before Chris Long released his first album, "Rain Symbolize Change".

Always willing to live first and tell the story later, Chris Long had a lot to say on his debut album. One song that stands out is "Rap Gentlemen". The song is about positivity, struggling towards your dream, respecting your opponents and never giving up. Or as Chris says, "everytime I fall I'm back at it again, all the pain in the past get beautiful then".

His new album soon to be released is entitled "Love City", meaning source of inspiration. This album is a wide mix of Hip Hop flavors and offers the listener a deeper journey into the world of Chris Long.
